January-March, 2008. Sunset-Station. 10am-5:30pm. Sunset Station is one of the largest historic special event facilities in San Antonio . Selected pieces from my jazz series will be on display. February 21st-28th, 2009. Altered Realities. Group Exhibit. Elder Street Gallery . 6pm-10pm. This show is designed to delight the mind as well as the eyes, featuring Surrealistic art from the following artists: Dali, Bert Long, Jesse Lott, Anatasia Sams, Christian Perkins, T. Smith, Gerardo Copado, Antonio Briones 3rd, Al L. Nash.
Admission is free of charge, as is parking, and open to the public. Libations available will include wine, beer, soft drinks, and water.

University Museum at Texas Southern University. TSU is located on 3100 Cleburne, Houston, TX. The museum is located at the south end of the Fairchild Building adjacent to Lot A.

May 2nd, 2009. Hunting Art Gala. Decorative Center. Houston, TX. Christian Perkins, along with 134 other Texas artists have been selected to move on to the final round of judging in the 2009 Hunting Art Prize. The $50,000 Hunting Art Prize is the largest annual arts award in the country. The recipient will be announced at a May 2 gala in Houston. The Hunting Art Prize is open to any Texas-based artist who is 18 years or older. For more information on the competition and a list of the finalists, visit www.huntingartprize.com.

Listed below are the jurors for this year's competition.
Kate Green, independent curator and former curator of Artpace in San Antonio; Chiyo Ishikawa, deputy director of art, Seattle Art Museum in Seattle, Washington;Suzanne Folds McCullagh, curator-prints and drawings, The Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.

June 20th, 2009. Juneteenth. 2pm - 5pm. PerezCohen Gallery. Houston, TX. 5 artists will be displaying their works in celebration of Juneteenth. Amongst the artists who will be displaying their creations are Lionel Lofton, Christian Perkins, Jackie Haliburton, Lindsay Peyton and Jonathan Lopez. The gallery is located at 714 East 8 1/2 Street.

July 11th-18th, 2009. 7pm-10pm. The Third Level. Elder Street Gallery. Houston, TX. Christian Perkins, along with 40 of the most talented artists in the state of Texas, were selected to participate in a one-week-show. Amongst the artists who will be displaying are Bert Long, Sharon Kopriva, Alberto Godoy, Sergio Santos, Jonathan Lopez, Marcus Mann, Lacey Crawford, Sue Donaldson, Keith J.R. Collingsworth, Lorena Fernandez, Sorange Castillo, Shelley Shanks, MaryAnn Lucas, Susan Goettsche, Alissa Fereday, and Martin deVore. The Pearland Chamber of Commerce is located at 6117 Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. Works can be seen during business hours of 8:30am-5:00pm.

September 17th-19th, 2010. 2nd Parallel Universes-The Art of Quantum Physics. Winter Street Studios. 6pm-11pm. Selected artists were asked to work with other artists to integrate their art as a whole, hence the title Parallel Universes. The show will begin with the “Exquisite Corpse” exhibit opening at Winter Street Studios main gallery at 2101 Winter Street Houston, Texas 77007 on Friday September 17th.
